About this release:
Miami’s Dcast Dynamics delivers the Trans-Migration 12″ ep (SO-014) on Australia’s Southern Outpost label which will no doubt be used to wreak havoc on unsuspecting humans and robots alike. Southern Outpost won’t take responsibility on any damage caused whilst playing this record!

The Trans-Migration ep sees Dcast Dynamics take a darker turn in his music, fusing electro and techno to create an uncompromising release. This release draws parallels with such artists as Drexciya, Dopplereffeckt and The Other People Place, but takes it to a whole other level entirely.

Dcast Dynamics (Gosub, Shad T. Scott) has been making music since the early days of Miami Bass, Techno, and Electro. Growing up on a healthy diet of 95 South, 2 Live Crew, Jam Pony, and others. He has released electro classics on such labels as his own imprint Isophlux, Frustrated Funk, Kondi, Device.. the list goes on.

“Trans-Migrations” gets straight down to business with a phased and arppegiated sawtooth, 4/4 kick and a moody descending lead line. The future is right here.

“Matter” brings the intensity back just for a moment, almost lulling you into a false sense of security. Laid back electro beats work well with the rough bassline and the bubbling synths.

“Break, Travel and Time” gets right back into it with a 4/4 beat and the most futuristic reverberating pad this side of Saturn. Martian horns give it an almost jazzy feel while the phaser leaves no doubt in your mind that this is truly an electro classic.

“Miss You” keeps the pace going, but brings the intensity down by weaving intricate melodies throughout the track, spatial synth pads fire off to give the track more depth. A perfect track for a Martian sunrise or even a lunar eclipse.
