Something must be in the air here in San Francisco, maybe it’s the impending winter, but I haven’t been this productive doing mixes for many years!

To be honest, I was asked to do this mix as a promo for my upcoming gig in Melbourne (22nd December), so the pressure was on to do this… I had already put it off a few weeks as I wasn’t feeling it, running out of time, *insert other lame excuses here*… so this weekend it was going to happen. And happen it did. It came together in one take, two turntables, one mixer recording directly to Ableton. No edits, mistakes and all.

It’s been a while since I dusted off both turntables (well over a year now) and it was time to get something new together as I’ve bought a lot of records recently. Done in one take Saturday morning in San Francisco.
